What is Device Analytics?
Device Analytics is a new observability feature offered by ThinScale. It provides IT teams with brand-new visibility over device performance and health in real-time. Device Analytics provides a comprehensive graphical view for IT to collect, view, and export event logs for any and all devices running a ThinScale client. This allows you to make strategic decisions based on device usage data.
What metrics does it collect?
Device Analytics collects a multitude of insights, presented in real-time. Currently, Device Analytics will provide insight into the following:
- CPU usage
- RAM usage
- Bandwidth health
- Latency speed
- Hard disk usage
Access our datasheet here for more information on Device Analytics!
Device Analytics even allows custom alerts to be sent to individual agents who are reaching a certain threshold of usage or dips in speed, allowing them to resolve the issue themselves before IT gets involved.
What can this do for your organization?
Device Analytics will provide your organization with increased IT visibility over your entire ThinScale estate, regardless of location.
- IT will be able to see vital device performance metrics allowing for more accurate LOB hardware specifications
- Support teams will be able to quickly respond to agent issues as they appear
- Determine performance variance between on-site and remote deployments
- Data-driven resource planning, give IT visibility over which devices should be replaced annually
